Why join the Lower Paint Creek Watershed?
To continue to improve the watershed area to a place of recreational beauty with clean water and a sparkling environment. LPCWA helps members develop leadership, networking, and organization skills that contribute to success in business, family, and personal endeavors. More importantly, LPCWA provides members with the opportunity to share their time and talents to help with the different programs that LPCWA sponsors thru out the year.
What does the Lower Paint Creek Watershed do?
LPCWA sponsors a wide range of activities to improve our watershed. The principal areas of service are improving the Paint Creek's beauty and water quality, Trout Stocking, Annual Kids Fishing Day and more. If you would like more information about LPCWA's projects go to our News and Events page.
How do I become a member?

What are the types of memberships available?
Individual: Any resident, stakeholder, or property owner within the geographic area served by LPCWA is entitled to membership.
Business: Businesses located and operating within the watershed are entitled to membership.
Associate: Any person who wants to become involved as a volunteer to assist the LPCWA with its goals is entitled to membership.
Honorary: Any person or persons selected by the Board of Directors for exemplary service to LPCWA.
The voting rights for general election of the Board of Directors and special elections as may be called by the board of Directors are as follows:
- Each individual member shall have one vote.
- Each business member shall have one vote.
- Each associate member will have no vote.
- Each honorary member will have one vote.
General membership meetings shall be held quarterly. the annual meeting of LPCWA shall be held in the second quarter of each year. The election of the Board of Directors shall take place during the annual meeting.
